The sea lions in Lincoln City bark for no other reason than to annoy humans. It is their favorite pastime. They can be heard from the tourist shops along main street, to as far away as the lighthouse out on the point.
Shopkeepers no longer
hear them. Their sounds have blended
into the tapestry that is Lincoln City. The
continual line of circling cars that search for a place to park are almost a
reflection of the seagull overhead in their hunt for scraps dropped by the
tourists.
