If everything were round
there’d be no corners to cut
no shortcuts to take
no pennies to count,
If everything were round
footballs wouldn’t take that awkward bounce
candles wouldn’t melt down
and cobwebs couldn’t hide,
If everything were round
this idea would be as wide
as it is long
and, to this idea
there'd never be a point.
