Finally, Saturday morning arrives but it is raining. I can’t go out and play. Why is it that the weather seems to always ruin
weekends? Why can’t it rain when it is a
school day, like a day there is a big test to take, why can’t it rain on that
day?
I’m thinking that Saturdays should be moveable. I believe adjustable calendars would be
popular. People could just look at the
weather channel on television and then decide which day would be best to go
fishing. “Okay, it looks like this
coming Thursday is going to be clear and sunny.
I’ll pick that to be my Saturday.”
I have heard of office people having something called flex
time. That sounds like it came from
the word flexible. If office people can
do it, why not school kids? I wonder how
many people would have to agree to make it into a law. Would it be a law or a
rule? I’m not sure. I should look up and see how laws are
made. Maybe it is a simple thing.
Maybe it is like at school.
They just hang posters around announcing to not run in the
hallways. I guess those are rules. Hey, the rain has stopped. I’ll work on this later. I’m going out.

Better yet - why not be able to decide just how many Saturdays that you would like each week? Yep! Much Better! Just choose, but then someone would make a rule or a law that you couldn't have more than three Saturdays in one week. OK if you can also have three Sundays!!
