A tiny little puff of air
can extinguish on a cake
a single birthday candle
and any wish you make.
Tis best to lick your fingers
and quickly squeeze the flame
never spreading all those germs
on the frosting or your name.
Never use an aerosol
to spray across the flame
Grandma and the curtains
will never be the same.
