Yohanson was a young inventor, born in Scandinavia and raised by his grandmother and an elevator, as they lived on the 3rd floor, if you started counting from street level. The invention that first got him noticed was his hiking boots made out of strudel. Never again would there be a lost hiker that died from starvation.
Not long after his brief rise to fame, however, the dreaded Antfoot came into being. The Strudel Boots were identified as the primary cause and sales immediately dropped off.
Meanwhile, in a small village in Italy, Anton Bruselli had read about the Antfoot outbreak and being somewhat of an inventor himself, developed the Honey-strip. A band-aid shaped adhesive tape, coated with honey, and when applied onto the bottom of a bare foot, automatically draws the ants to that location. Once there, the simple act of walking smushes the little critters. Problem Solved.
Problema Risoito, was the catch phrase that ran on all the Italian commercials advertising the Honey-Strip.
Today, the Strudel
Boot is next to impossible to find and the Honey-Strip was deemed cruel and
unusual and banned in several countries.
Antfoot eventually resolved itself and is no longer a problem.
