Three Rules

 

I have lived my life by three rules.  #1 is to have fun.  #2 is to be kind.  #3 Don’t color outside of the lines.

 

The hardest of those for most people has been fun.  Many people choose to be smart or productive over fun, but trust me, the correct answer is fun.

 

Being kind is easier than you might think.  In fact, the more you practice it, the easier it becomes.  Eventually it becomes your natural state of being.

 

You can select any color, and shade, it makes no difference.  The only thing to remember is to stay within the lines.  Don’t force your beliefs onto someone else.  Don’t place expectations on others or encroach into their lane.  Simply enjoy your own life and if they decide to join in, let them.  Remember, the main goal in life is to have fun.  Something seems to happen when people turn into adults.  Suddenly they think being grown-up means being serious or climbing to the top or ending up with the most of whatever.  In the end we all end up in the same place.  Having fun along the way makes all the difference.
