Knowing that no one
has ever survived this life tends to afford us a little elbow room for experimentation.
Accepting that failure is inevitable, I wonder how long the list of side
effects would be for life itself.
·
Chronic yearning for things just out of reach
·
Sudden bursts of joy at inopportune moments
·
Recurring dreams of flying, falling, or forgetting your locker combination
·
Mild to severe heartbreak, often triggered by love, loss, or the smell of old books
·
Uncontrollable laughter during funerals or board meetings
·
Phantom nostalgia for places you've never been
·
Temporary paralysis when asked, “So, what do you do?”
·
Spontaneous weeping at music, kindness, or the last page of a good book
·
Occasional déjà vu, as if you’ve been here before
·
Imposter
syndrome, during
moments of success
·
Unexplained cravings for pie
And I’m sure there would be 60 additional pages.

By Golly you are right! I do suffer from Phantom nostalgia and spontaneous weeping! As for the pie - perhaps just apple!....or maybe pumpkin.
