When you think just how
incredibly tiny we are compared to the entire universe it is a wonder we are
able to function, build cities and send rockets off into space. Gravity, much like fly paper, keeps us stuck
to this whirling planet. Insects, much
smaller than us have no difficulty springing up from the ground and flying
around as if completely unaffected by such a force. Maybe fly paper was the wrong choice for a comparison,
as gravity isn’t sticky, although it can be dangerous. The further off of the ground we become, the
more dangerous gravity gets.
Mountain climbers are given only
a couple chances to get it right. Too
many goofs and down they go. Perhaps we
should be viewing this planet as a living creature. All of its systems work in harmony keeping it
alive. It relies on the air and seas and
the expansion and contractions of its land masses. Maybe it has a conscience. Possibly what we see as an annoyance is
simply its way of keeping us safe. Could it be that we are living on a thinking
planet?
It just might be that we’ve been
thinking too small all these years. In
viewing all of the planets of the solar system as living beings that exist
within a much larger body, then it makes sense.
We are simply the tiny cancers infecting the host, polluting the rivers
with poisons, destroying the air with O-factories and such. Ignore that play on words there, I was just
having fun.
Anyway – think bigger.

I do THINK bigger, but it's my WALLET that needs to be bigger!
