Not on any Map

How strange will it be when you eventually discover that your imagination is an actual place.  What?  You thought we were just making this stuff up?  And don’t be looking for GPS coordinates, there isn’t one.  You’ll be recalculating for years.

Don’t, however, get this confused with an imaginary friend.  They’re not real.  Oh sure, they seem quite real at the time, but think about it…  Did you ever see them eat?  How about change clothes?  Wouldn’t you think they would start to smell after a while?  Come on – get with the program.

But the places and events in your imagination are very real.  I know, I’ve been there.  And having traveled quite extensively, I can say – some of you are very strange, sick even.  I have no idea why you’d even think such things.  But we won’t get into that now.  For now, I just want to address the fliers.

You know who you are.  Without the aid of any mechanical device, you’ve gone zipping about, flying over countrysides, over city streets and through quaint little villages.  I’ve even seen you go down stairways without using your feet or touching the handrails.  Don’t look like you don’t know what I’m talking about.  You know it’s true.

The laws of physics are very different in your imagination.  Gravity is no more than a rumor and time becomes elastic.  It can be stretched or twisted, or even bounce back, unexpectedly.  The next time you go you may want to take notes.  I'm serious.
