None of them ever know which one is destined for greatness and which will be tipped foul.
Each has potential, many have dreams of one day flying over the center field wall, while most remain content just to be a part of the group.
It's not like you can tell by looking at them.
I knew one once who had achieved greatness. He was signed and ended up under a glass globe, but for whatever reason, he wasn't happy. He spoke of loneliness and of missing the game.
I think we would have been delighted to just once more fly off, even if it was foul.
