The clouds are much higher
today. I mean it, they look really far
away. Other things are different as
well, but it is the clouds that grabbed my attention.
I imagine my friend is sitting on
his boat right now, staring at his fishing line as it disappears into the dark
water. As he waits patiently for a
nibble, I try to comprehend why the clouds look so drastically high.
I expect the reflection of the
clouds shows up on the surface of the lake, adding to his inability to catch any
glimpse of passing fish.
He is bound to catch a fish long
before I can ever comprehend the cloud height.
Then again, he is using bait, while I have only my wits. It’s hardly fair.
