My Adventurous Self

I wouldn’t pick a pirate ship

for sailing out to see,

Unless, of course, the captain was

no one else but me,

I’d never take a cruise ship

way too many peeps,

Some good - some not so much

and way too many creeps.

A sturdy little tugboat

the kind that doesn’t sink,

If it had a bar, of course,

so I could have a drink.

Guided by the stars above

when the sun was not around,

we roll across the ocean waves

just sailing up and down

and up and down and up and down and up and

Okay, so maybe not a tugboat.
