Alvin Izenbeck
He is the true secret behind artificial intelligence. It never was some sophisticated, all knowing, super-computer. This entire time it’s been Alvin. He was the original Shell Answer Man, fielding questions about your tire pressure and headrest adjustments.
Alvin never married. He lives alone, surrounded by his collections of World Book Encyclopedias, his Mother Agnes Libby Izenbeck and a Magic Eightball.
It is Alvin who
answers your questions, gives directions and creates the images you
request. Alvin, or AI, as he’s come to
be known, employs a network of weather people, a guy named Larry who supplies him with
updated farm reports, and a handful of students, working on their doctorate.
