Food for Thought

It may not make sense to you

but it does to them,

It’s the reason they fly

they also can walk

and it keeps them afloat

when they try to swim,

What a Pelican eats

gets packaged and sold

it’s little and formed

it’s chocolate and rolled,

It makes them feel good

from their head

to their tootsies,

and it certainly isn’t fish.
