I noticed that men’s razors are advertising multiple blades on the same razor. One little plastic razor but with 2, 3 and even up to 4 blades, suggesting a closer shave.
I don’t know why, but that made me think of double barrel shotguns. Why not 3 or 4 barrels? Oh sure, it may be too heavy to lift, but all the more chances to hit the target.
I know that for a while there, car makers had more than two headlights per car. I recall a Chevy Chase station wagon that had at least 4 headlights, and why not?
I think if we weren’t prone to making mistakes, pencils would have a point at each end, instead of an eraser. No matter how you picked it up, it would already be facing the right way.
Some thirty years ago I wrote about a horse that had a tail at each end. You know, for swatting flies. How convenient would that be?
The battery companies caught on right away. They made double A batteries and didn’t waste their time starting off with just an A battery. Then, of course, they jumped right over to Triple A.
Peter Paul Mounds
seems to have settled on two almonds in their Almond Joy, while the Mars
Company put a whole fist-full of peanuts in every Snickers bar. I haven’t any idea how many peanuts there are
in an average sized fist. Come to think
of it, I bet they used a kid-sized fist.
You know those corporate guys.
