Ralphie's disappointment at seeing the secret message is just another commercial pretty much sums up my view of society. Advertising, long ago, reached the saturation point. It has become inescapable and unfortunately has not evolved in the slightest.
Unless it is time for the Super Bowl, they leave the funny and clever behind and cater to the lowest common lifeform who may still have pocket change, using third-rate actors who sell their soul for a paper towel commercial.
Until Google changes
the rules on Blogs, I will refuse any and all ads or pop-ups that pester or
annoy my faithful and loyal fans. I
believe there should be at least one place a person can escape to, in order to
enjoy their daily gibberish, void of toothpaste and monster trucks, lame jingles
and flickering images. The ones I create
in your head don’t count.
