The greedy gene - it multiplies

it’s dividing all the time

It magnetizes pennies

and turns them into dimes,

it sends you off to market

when there’s nothing that you need,

You’re human, you can’t help it

it’s all because of greed,

The process is mitosis

a division of the cells,

A flaw that lives in humans

and makes your wallet swell.

The cure has many side-effects

for those who are infected

You’ll see the ones who have it bad

it’s those who’ve been elected.
