Fishing without worms

It is a little like fishing.  I slip one of these cards into my night-vision camera, turn it on and then I go back into the house and go to bed for the night.

In the morning, I go out and collect these cards and then look to see what activity they have captured while I was asleep.

Usually, they are the things that go BUMP in the night.  They have claws and teeth and are missing even the slightest hint of a smile.

None of them, that I know of, have the ability to speak, although they do grunt and growl and sometimes drool.

There is nothing I care to catch or toss a net over.  I believe that everyone is better off with them left outside, and not curled up on our laps or driving on our roads.

Just this little glimpse of life after dark is enough for me.

Nice - but I would want to pet them! Not all of them, but a few!
