It’s a timing thing.
We understand that everything decays, it breaks down and goes away. What we’re depending on is that it doesn’t
happen while we are still using it.
I have a plastic bottle of water on my desk and I’m trusting
that it holds its shape and not suddenly dissolve into individual molecules before
I’m done with it.
We like to think that the buildings in our cities continue to
keep their building shape as long as we need them. I believe it is a combination of our
understanding of science and physics along with what history has shown us, that
gives us our trust. We see that the ancient
structures in Rome remain standing, just as the great pyramids have not liquefied
into puddles.
That is not to say that the unseen waves and signals that
fill our air from cell phones, to satellites quietly circling the earth to military
secret detection rays are not, as we speak, taking their toll on our present
reality.
If all these communication signals were visible, it would look like we were walking through an atmosphere of Silly string. That must be doing something. I'm keeping a close eye on this water bottle.

If communication signals were visible and looked like silly string - we would not be able to move! It would be like a mine field and we all would be just stuck in place. Yikes!
