Each one is a doorway to someplace else.
They are thoughts frozen in time,
moments we can return to
again and again.

Pass through some doors, only to find
yourself in a long hallway.
Getting to the main room seems
too long of a journey, although eventually
you see there was a reason.

A few of these doors test the limits
of your understanding.  They may even
make you question the architect. 

Once in a while you'll find an old friend.
you'll feel comfort in having a travel companion. 

They do not stand in any order.
There is no special sequence, and
each time we visit it is a different experience,
for we have changed
in the time it has taken us to return.

Then, occasionally, there are doorknobs
on the right side of the door,
designed to lead us away from
things expected.
