There is a rafter of wild turkeys
across the road. They are currently
gathered in the shade, which isn’t so dumb, given today’s temperature. They seem to pay attention when it comes
time to cross the road. They look for
cars and pay attention to the leader of the group. What I am curious about is their play
time. Do turkeys play? I don’t know.
We all know puppies do and
kittens do, even wild bears play. So,
what is it about playing? I have read
articles that suggest crows play tricks on each other. I doubt it’s a – got your nose, kind
of thing, or a ha ha, made you look.
If people and animals play, then just maybe spirits do as well. There must be some fun in the afterlife, otherwise, what’s the point? We certainly can’t go by the stuff Hollywood produces. For years they have been stuck on good verses evil, ghosts are scary, and death is to be feared. Poppycock. They’re in the business to sell tickets. I like to think that if God made Man in his image, then he as well has a sense of humor. One of the few times Hollywood got things right was when Yoda indicated that all things were connected. There is a common thread that runs through everything. A Force, and not just in this life.
