I have already been around 77
times. I have only knocked over a few
hurdles and have stumbled twice, but never fallen. Do not be sad that I can now see the finish
line from here. It is a welcome sight.
Everyone who has finished before
me waits for me at the flags. They are
smiling and excited to see me. I know
when my childhood pal spots me, he’ll say, “That’s the spirit.”
