Very Odd Footprints

They weren’t so much whiskers as much as they were tiny arms protruding from the sides of it’s face.  Small hands with little fingers at the end of each arm wiggled about as it moved, as if it were feeling for things that it might bump into.  That had me questioning how good the eyesight was.

The above entry was the only thing on the ship’s computer that survived the crash, and that only remained on the monitor for a few minutes.  That’s when everything went black, and Ken noticed the smoke.  We all scrambled to get back outside, even though outside is where the thing might be now.

Something had come back with them, and now it was here on Earth with us.  NASA never reported anything to the press.  Nobody knew why, but everything was suddenly classified.  No one was talking.  The small circle of people who were in the know still had no idea what it looked like, how big the thing was, or if it’s diet consisted of more than just crew members.
