A Case for the Tuba

There is no password needed to produce music from a tuba.  Once you master the technique, and locate a place to practice, preferably not within the confines of an apartment, all that is needed is time.  The music will find you.  Only you will understand the reason for selecting the tuba as your instrument of choice.  In the realm of wild instruments, the tuba is perhaps the closest to the elephant, should you be making that kind of comparison.   It does not leap, as does a gazelle, nor does it pick up the speed of a cheetah.

In the wild they are easy to spot.  It is not a shy instrument, and it could never be considered as boastful as say… a kettle drum, thumping its chest to display dominance.   The slide trombone, although requiring additional room, simply slithers along as might a serpent making its way through an orchestra pit.
