Sarah was enjoying her new house. It was certainly roomy enough and it had
everything she had hoped for. The
morning sun came through the kitchen windows, even though there were fancy
little curtains, the rays of light shot across the kitchen and lit up the
collection of empty Mason jars that sat on the top of the refrigerator. The light tended to illuminate all the dust
the jars had collected but she enjoyed the way it looked. There was just something artsy about it.
The bathroom at the back of the house had a slight drip in
the sink, but she didn’t mind it. It
wasn’t like it was keeping her awake at night, with its drip, drip, drip.
Sarah had big plans for this place. She was hoping to have a big family, and they would all live here. She really didn’t have to do anything in the house, to her it was already perfect. The bowl on the kitchen counter worried her just a little. It had several realtor business cards in it. Every time a realtor would show this house to more people, they’d leave their business card in the bowl. It was their way of showing that they had a potential buyer, and that as a local realtor, they were out there hustling. Getting the job done.
In her heart she knew that one day someone would buy the
place, but until that happened, she’d leave her webs in place and just enjoy
having the run of the house. For right
now it was all hers.

Sarah must have a sister called Charlotte. I think I have a few of their relatives here in my house.
