Once upon a time there was a great bean company in a very stately
building. Within the building were
several rooms, an assortment of fixtures, equipment of sorts and of course –
beans.
For miles around everyone knew about the bean company and
admired the fine building. The place was
Fenton, Michigan. A small friendly
community which was several miles from the big city of Detroit, the birthplace
of automobiles and crime.
Like most small towns in Michigan, Fenton had three
seasons, very cold winters, mosquito infested
summers and road construction.
As the auto industry grew, transportation aided in the spread
of crime. People were becoming mobile,
communication between people as well as between cities became faster, while
road construction always kept things from going too fast.
To this day, I still can’t understand why I couldn’t land a
job with the Michigan Tourist Bureau. I
mean, I included a nice picture of their bean company.

I can't even imagine a whole big store for just mainly beans! Nice building though.
