Snarky

 

Some words are their own definition.

The meaning is tucked in between each letter. It oozes an attitude like not many words can. It comes with its own barriers to communication, and although the sting may, at the time, seem slight, its impact tends to linger.

The word snarky has an adhesive quality that others will see.  Its residue on you is somehow visible even if it isn't acknowledged.
