Just South of Normal

Once in a while my computer will go wonky, or the printer will stop working or my email will disappear.  I have no understanding why this happens or how to fix it.

I’ve known for years that there is something in my physical system that keeps wrist watches from working.  It makes no difference if they are battery operated, self-winding or packed with atomic juju.  Once strapped onto me they stop working.  Consequently, I’ve never been able to wear a watch.

Should I someday meet a time traveler, I’ll ask them if a solution has been discovered for a condition such as mine.  As technology is only going to become more advanced, surely someone will have come up with a cure.  Maybe they’ll even call it Zobostic’s Curse.

On the other hand, if I am to be remembered for something, let’s hope it isn’t some quirky affliction associated with electronics.   I really don’t want my headstone to read, It wasn’t just his face that could stop a clock.

Good thing that we can all see the time now on our phones! I used to always wear a watch, but since we have such smart phones, they are no longer needed. Well, probably don't even need a phone cuz they added that to a watch. Ain't that right Kit?
