There's a song that talks about alligator lizards in the
air. As I watched Clifford riding on his
large grass cutting machine, I could imagine all the hundreds of little geckos
we have around here getting flung up into the sky as his machine passed over
them.
Cliff wears those big earmuffs for hearing protection, so I
doubt he ever hears the tiny gecko screams.
Seeing him bounce along, oblivious to the consequences of his
actions, got me to wonder what I was leaving in my wake. All too often, I focus on something, only to
discover later what has actually transpired.
Then again, maybe Clifford knows, and that's why he wears the earmuffs.
