Clever in its making
It looks so real from here,
Green and thick, each blade in place
No bunnies dare come near.
Harsh and course upon your hand
Not pleasant to the feel,
But stand way back and take a look,
From here it looks quite real.
Never needs a trim or cut
It doesn’t grow a hair
Never need to rake a leaf
Or fertilize with care.
Your neighbors, several houses down
Got something they’ve been buying
Sold separately, and by the case
They're plastic dandelions.
