Thoughts like snow - now drift
leaving old and partial images
piled along the edges of my history
Disconnected faces and mostly forgotten adventures
occasionally protrude
causing me to stop –
trying hard to connect the dots
All the while plows
continue to push the more recent –
Did we have lunch yet?
