but don't listen to it

What you might see is that others have gone before you, they have cleared a path and constructed sturdy sides to keep you safe.

What you can’t see is that the path leads down below the swamp, away from daylight and out of the warm breeze.  In just a matter of feet you find yourself far beneath the world of darting dragonflies; well below the water beetles, snakes and biting flies and into darkness that is both void of handrails and familiar faces.


There is nothing you could carry that would be of use.  Your mind will be your tour guide, your courage is the only thing that will keep you moving and the voice in your head – the one telling you to turn around and go back will be the only sound.
