A Player Piano still needs a person, the same as chopsticks still require fingers. There are only shortcuts in other places, none where you’d hope to find them, although I keep looking.
There is a distinguishable difference between a whole donut and a donut hole. In my working years, I often had bosses who assumed I wasn’t aware of life around me. One day, while working in a supermarket, I came across some spilled Jellybeans. Before I could gather them all up, removing the hazard, I had to go and get something to put them in. As I headed off to find a container or dustpan, my manager yelled for me to come and see him. “I’ve been watching you, and I saw you walk right past those spilled Jellybeans. You should be more aware. Now go and get something to put them in.”
I can’t imagine who made him a manager,
but Yikes! None of this, of course, has
anything to do with donut holes or chopsticks.
I was just rambling… I do that on
occasion.
