Design Optics by Foster Grant

Sometimes I see the fine details when I’m actually taking in an overall view.   Sitting here, just looking at the bits and pieces that tend to drift in and gather around me, I noticed the tiny writing along the inside edge of these glasses.  (You have to look close) I’d be surprised if the person responsible for it being there thought I’d be able to read it without my glasses on.  With them on, of course, the print is no longer visible.  So, who is it there for?

On occasion, I’ll spot some very small print along the bottom of a giant billboard along the highway.  Now, considering I’m traveling between 60 and 70 miles per hour, and casually glancing through a windshield, that may or may not be all that clean, what is the likelihood that I’m out searching for the phone number of a billboard company?

I’ve gotten used to drug companies flashing, in fine print, for 2 seconds, the debilitating side effects of their latest creation across the television screen.  I just hadn’t before noticed that even the smallest details around me carry some message, not really intended to be seen, and yet there it is.
