Strange but True

I don’t know why this is, but sometimes I know things before they happen.  Like just a few minutes ago I knew that when I turned that lamp on the lightbulb was going to pop and sure enough, the bulb burnt out when I flipped the switch.

I don’t think I’m psychic, but there are other things as well, things I can tell are going to happen right before they do.  There have been some people I’ve met and instantly knew I’d never see them again.  For whatever reason they wouldn’t be around anymore.

And before you ask, no, I can’t predict the Lotto numbers, I don’t win in Vegas and I’ve never come out on top when negotiating with car salesmen.  It’s not that kind of gift.  If we even want to call it a gift.  I don’t really know what to do with it.

There is something within my body’s electrical system that is a bit off.  I’ve never been able to wear a wristwatch.  It doesn’t matter what brand, expensive or cheap, self-winding or battery, they all stop when strapped to my wrist. 100% of the time.  For a short while I placed a thin felt pad between the back of the watch and my wrist.  That seemed to so the trick but it wasn’t at all comfortable.

If there are any of you out there in Blogville with the same affliction, please let me know.  I’m curious to see how other people deal with it, if at all.

Thanks
