I believe the spirit of every author roams the halls of the
library. Some tend to mingle, while
others seem much more stuffy, stand-offish.
Some believe their work to be of great importance, and they strut around
wearing their jackets, while others, like in the children’s section, relax and
even sit cross-legged on the carpet.
You may not hear it, but it is never really quiet. In fact, it’s all rather chaotic. The books may be organized, but spirits never remain alphabetical.
