There is a stillness in the desert, separate from the
quietness. They are independent of each
other. It is noticeable to the artist
and overlooked by those complaining of the heat.
The relationship between the canvas and the brush is not the
paint, but is the sound of the music rising from the image. Stand back and admire it, you’ll hear it.
It is life unspoken. It lives in the desert as well as in the galleries. It is performed by the architecture along city streets and underlined by the postman's shoes.
