I first noticed it in Savannah where the sidewalks are made of bricks. Nothing is flat or level and if you're not paying attention you'll find yourself falling splat, like a bird dropping.
Even before you start your day - shoe choice should be your primary consideration.
I'm thinking that eventually, like self-driving cars, shoes will be equipped with sensors, warning devices and stabilizers. No longer will strolling downtown be the hazardous nightmare it is today.
