Things she keeps in her Living Room

Some perhaps saw them as odd mementoes.  Those who had been privy to her history knew better.

The set of steel stamps was one of the first things she had ever asked her dad to buy her.  She really didn’t know why – she just wanted them.

The two barrel carburetor was something she had kept from the Chevy she and her girlfriends drove in '61.

The cigar box held the letters she received from Ted while he was stationed over there.  Even after being notified - she kept hoping for more letters and kept watching the mail.

She threw the brick into her television one night as Walter Cronkite was reporting the number of dead American solders.
