They said up
front it was a temp job.
At first you’ll be the new kid. You won’t know anyone or anything but give it
time. You’ll make friends and others
will teach you. You’ll quickly get to
know your way around.
You’ll see, you’ll grow into it. Eventually you’ll no longer be the new
kid. Trust me, there will be a lot to learn,
and you’ll have to master the language as you go. That will be key. They will send you through schools with
others like yourself. You won’t be going
through this alone.
When you’re old enough, they will put you to work. I have no idea what that will be, but they’ll
pay you for whatever you do. You can buy
things or save up your money for a later date.
Even throughout your working life you’ll be learning things. That will never stop.
When the time comes that you’ve grown too old to keep
working, you’ll have to live on whatever money you have saved. Someone will explain all that to you. It’s important to pay attention to that part
of it. That will be called
retirement. You should enjoy yourself
then. You’ll have made friends and be
quite settled.
At the end of retirement you’ll be called back here and we’ll go over everything you’ve learned. I don’t think I have left anything out. Do you have any questions for me?
