It doesn’t take a great deal for things to get out of
balance. Depending upon what it is
determines the impact that imbalance will have.
If it is a tire on your car then it can create a wobble. Left unchecked, that wobble will eventually
affect something else, perhaps more serious than just a wobble as you’re going
down the road.
On a much larger scale, each time man has set off a nuclear explosion,
unbeknownst to him, the axis of the Earth moves slightly, the rotation is
altered, albeit a minor amount, but these changes send ripples into the
universe. These ripples, or disruptive
waves, cause minor changes to the moon and other celestial systems. As there is little to no atmosphere in space,
like sound these waves do not dissipate.
Life, as we know it, exists because of a balance in nature. We have the systems required to keep us
going, temperature, water, oxygen, food, it all works together. Alter any one of those and the balance falters. Plants and animals cease to exist. Both scientist and auto mechanic know that a
small crack in the windshield, left unchecked, will spread. So it is with things out of balance. We cannot control the ripples that hit us
from space, but we can pay attention to our own consequences, and we should. To neglect it is to allow the wobble to grow until it is no longer a wobble, but a collapse.
