There’s
something wrong with Ted.
Ted is a
want-to-be artist, who works as a busboy in a local restaurant. He enjoys being creative and working with his
hands. The problem is that Ted’s view of
life is just a little off.
When he made
this carving of a bird sitting on a turtle’s lap, nobody wanted to tell him
that it was stupid, or crazy or just plain bad.
Everyone was polite, even his manager promised to put it in a place of
honor somewhere in the restaurant.
Everyday, as
Ted came up the steps to the front door, he admired his handiwork. The manager chose to display it up in the
rafters, by the ceiling of the front porch.
Fortunately,
none of the customers ever looked up.
