Thinking Out Loud

 

How fun it would have been

to give flashlights to cavemen

a GPS to Lewis and Clark

and a cell phone to Plato,

Truly wonderful

if we had now

what we’ll need tomorrow,

It seems our timing is off -

We grow up too soon

and learn too late,

a leapyear cannot get us

back on track

Adjusting our clocks twice

isn’t even close,

We could use a solar Flabordorf 

but they’ve yet

to be invented.
