I had plenty of time waiting in the emergency room. Everything was all very hectic. It seemed like everyone was talking at once,
some were yelling. I’m not really sure
who was doing the listening.
I did learn, while sitting there, why they call it a crash
cart. So many doctors, nurses and
assistants all going every which way and then this one rolling cart, full of
important looking equipment hit the corner of the cabinet.
The noise of the impact didn’t seem to slow anyone down. They just kept up their hectic pace as if
nothing had happened. I noticed,
however, the severe trauma to the corner of the cabinet. There were lacerations, contusions, abrasions and
possible internal hemorrhaging.
One severed section of veneer lay across the room. I felt sick to my stomach just looking at it.
Why wasn't there an emergency room carpenter on duty?

OR ...put rubber bumpers on the cart! Easy solution! But, then they would probably have to change the name to bounce cart.
