Gone unnoticed, sight unseen
blending with your shade of green
Course and pointy, awkward shape
you are a blight on my landscape,
Dare I be kind and just ignore
and let you live as days before
What harm is there to let you be
except should all my neighbors see
For fear you’ll spread, not that you should
and overtake the neighborhood
They form a mob, rakes by their side
armed with cans of herbicide,
Sorry that you’ll pay the toll
but it’s gotten out of my control.

I have some that try to beautify! They point their yellow faces towards the sky!
