It isn’t the wind rustling the leaves. The trees have a nervous condition. There are tree doctors, but how far really
has their technology advanced? But that
is a topic for a different day. Today I’d
like to discuss the absence of wind, for it is when wind stops that eerie
begins.
Eerie generates a feeling in
humans, that the animal world seems immune too.
Without the wind, birds can still fly, squirrels still scamper and fish…
well, fish are oblivious to most things.
In fact, they still haven’t caught on to the dangers of earthworms
magically appearing before them. Yumm…
But I digress. People who are generally calm become jumpy
when eerie is present. Sounds seem
magnified, shadows move on their own and sell-by dates have come and gone
before you know it.
The best thing you can do
whenever the wind stops is to crank up your computer, or cell phone and tune in
to this Blog. Our menu options have
never changed, there is no annoying hold music, and your wait time is always
zero.
You'll thank me later.
