Hope for Bubbles

 North

It took me a while but I finally realized that all the smart kids in class lived in the North.  Not sure why that was.

While I lived here in the south and forever struggled, yet still couldn't find the answers in an open-book test.

The kids up north came from the rich parents and were always the first ones to have their own cars.

We wouldn't be able to find success with both hands and a flashlight.

I didn't mind living here.  At the time I had nothing to compare it to, so I didn't know there was a sharp end on the pencil.  I simply went back and forth, back and forth in Mistake Land, leaving little bits behind that I had too clean up later.

I eventually wore through the page, which is when strangers began taking an interest in Zobostic Corwin.  What's wrong with ZC?  Does he even know which way is up?

Of course I did.  The moment I was on the bottom of the pool, all I had to do was follow the bubbles.  I have used that philosophy for most things in my life.  Hit rock bottom and then hope there are bubbles.  It does work, but I can't recommend it.
