His parents didn’t know why, but the only thing on his Christmas list was windsocks. So, on Christmas morning, that was the present Harv opened, two matching windsocks.
Never did his parents expect him to put them on his feet, but that’s what Harvey did. He was very surprised to find that once outside it became quite difficult to walk in a straight line. Even the slightest breeze would send him off across some corn field, or through a dairy farm. Just trying to walk had become a new adventure.
As the wind gathered inside of the socks, they pushed him along like some giant invisible hand scooting him across the ground. He needed very little effort to go forward. He was getting a free ride. The only surprises were the sudden directional changes. If he wasn’t ready, he'd fall over, and standing back up wasn’t easy.
His parents quietly watched him
from their front gate. “Maybe he’s like
Edison, inventing the lightbulb.” His farther suggested, but his mother only
grunted… “Yeah, he’s a real genius.”

Throw caution to the wind because riding the wind is a breeze!
Just glad you go with the flow because life is more than being tossed to and fro; you just have to ride the current.
