The actual truth is there is beauty in everything. You must realize, however, that to see the
beauty in a spider, you may need to be a spider.
To understand the beauty of the desert, you must also
appreciate its intensity. You need to
comprehend the relationships between heat, rock and life. The feet of the lizard are not sensitive to
the scorching surface of the rock, just as it should come as no surprise to see

There is a certain poetry in walking along the desert
highway, carrying an empty gas can. The
