It was an indication of how my
day was going to go. It began with me trying
to vacuum up a spot on the carpet that turned out to be a little bit of sun coming
in from between the blinds. It took me just a little too long to catch on to that
one.
Later that morning, while
following my GPS directions, it had me making six left turns in a row. As the same buildings kept passing in front
of me, I figured something must have been wonky.
When I got home my garage door
wouldn’t open. I looked across the
street at my neighbor’s house. His porch
light was off. It is always on, day and
night. Okay, so the power was out in the
neighborhood. It’s good that I figured
that out, but I was still sitting in the driveway with no way to open the
garage door. So where is that little ray
of sunshine when I need it?
